CopperSpice Overview  1.5.2

The JSON classes have been back ported to CopperSpice. The CopperSpice JSON classes provide a simple C++ API to parse, modify, and save JSON data. JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a format used to store structured data. JSON is based on a subset of the JavaScript Programming Language.

JSON is built on two structures:

  • A collection of name/value pairs. In various languages this is realized as an object, record, struct, dictionary, hash table, keyed list, or associative array.
  • An ordered list of values. In most languages this is realized as an array, vector, list, or sequence.

QJson Classes

  • QJsonObject::iterator - Provides an STL-style non-const iterator for QJsonObject
  • QJsonArray - Represents a JSON array
  • QJsonValue - Encapsulates a value in JSON
  • QJsonParseError - Used to report errors during JSON parsing
