Introduction

Diamond is a full editor capable of running on Unix, Windows, and Mac OS X. The Diamond project began as a replacement for the Crimson and Emerald Editors, which were available only on Windows. For Mac OS X, Diamond is an good alternative to TextWrangler.

Diamond is a completely new project. It was designed and developed in C++ using the CopperSpice libraries. The CopperSpice libraries can be linked directly into any modern C++ application.

The Diamond Editor binaries are available for the following platforms:
